There are more than one million international students in Australia contributing approximately $40 billion to the national economy each year, yet falling through the cracks of government financial support programs during the Covid-19 crisis.
Some are isolated from their families and support networks, left with no incomes, no job opportunities, and an uncertain future.
Our goal is to help ease food insecurity among international students in Victoria by distributing food relief until Stage 4 restrictions ease and businesses reopened for job prospects.
We are also raising awareness on social exclusion, racism, and the deeper emotional consequences of Australia’s policies among temporary visa holders and migrant communities.
We are here for you.
Send us your details and we will be in touch when relevant support becomes available.
Your donations will fund our distribution of food vouchers, hot meals, and personal essential care packs.
Please contact us if you would like to make any non-monetary contributions.

Hi there,
Thank you for being here. :)
My name is Belle and I am a Trinity College & Melbourne University alumna. I have spent almost 8 years in Australia and have had my fair share of ups and downs throughout the years.
During the COVID-19 crisis, I realise I am luckier than many.
I have found myself an amazing network of friends and colleagues, some of whom I know I can always rely on in time of need. I am able to support myself, have food on the table, a place I call home, and best of all - I get to spend time with my family (they’ve been stuck here since March! 😅).
I am incredibly grateful and I want to do what I can to help the vulnerable international students who are struggling with limited financial assistance. With businesses being closed, these students are left with no incomes, no job opportunities and an uncertain future, whilst being isolated from their families and support networks.
So I started WeStandTogether - an intiative to help ease food insecurity amongst these students, making the situation a little more manageable for them. I am working to partner with different organisations to distribute food vouchers, meals and care packages to the students in need.
Please share, donate, or support if you can. For any non-monetary contributions, please get in touch westandtogether.aus@gmail.com.
If you are a donor, thank you for your kindness and generosity.
If you are a student seeking support, hang in there, I will do my best to get you the help you need.
Sincerely,
Belle To
